Noting that there are approximately 5-6 thousand electric vehicles throughout the country, Gündoğdu said that 2030 out of 10 vehicles in Europe and one out of every 8 vehicles sold in our country are predicted to be electric in 2.
Gündoğdu said, “The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change made changes in the Parking Lot Regulation. 20 percent electric vehicle charging station condition will be sought in parking areas of more than 5 vehicles. Currently, the number of electric vehicles in our city is between 8 and 10. Considering that there will be an increase in the number of electric vehicles in the coming years, it is not possible to increase the number of charging stations and vehicles at the same time. In order to meet this need in the future, we are installing electric vehicle charging units. For now, we have charging units in Hunat and Kurşunlu Car parks. We will expand this further in the coming years,” he said.
Gündoğdu added that they will continue to create new projects in order to contribute to the formation of a healthy environment.
