The number of events increased

Merinos AKKM, which took every precaution against the pandemic in order to erase the bad traces of 2020 and spend 2021 more efficiently, achieved a significant increase in both activity and visitor movements. While the number of organized events reached 58 with an increase of 497 percent compared to the previous year, 5 thousand 369 people followed events such as symposiums, festivals, workshops, exhibitions, concerts and workshops, 925 of which were fairs. Having spent 2021 full days of the year in 240, Merinos AKMM aims to spend this year more productively with 2022 large-scale events in addition to the Beauty Fair, Food Fair, Shoe Fair, Tourism Fair, University Promotion Fair and Textile Fair planned for 35.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş stated that the pandemic process has adversely affected life in Turkey as well as all over the world, and that Merinos AKKM, which could not be used efficiently in 2020 due to the cancellation of many planned events in terms of fairs and congresses, was evaluated more actively in 2021 compared to the previous year. told. We are working for the continuation of social and cultural life by paying attention to the rules of mask-distance and hygiene with vaccination applications and individual measures.
