Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) cooperated with Pakistan in the field of satellites in a post shared on its Twitter account on January 26, 2022. Satellite projects will be developed in the agreement signed with Pakistan Space and Upper Research Commission (SUPARCO). In this context, TAI and SUPARCO will work together on electric communication satellites and different space projects.

TAI, on its Twitter account, said about the SUPARCO agreement, “Within the scope of the agreement, we will carry out joint studies on electric communication satellites and other space projects. We wish good luck for the two countries.” made statements.

Established in Ankara METU Teknokent in partnership with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) and Argentina-based INVAP SE, GSATCOM Space Technologies Inc. launched a new generation communication satellite development program that will provide significant advantages in the international market in 2019. The company realizes the first overseas sales of new generation communication technologies, of which it fully owns the intellectual and industrial rights, to Argentina. Within the scope of the project, TAI will make the first export of our country in the field of space by selling many satellite subsystems, equipment and engineering services.

The new generation ARSAT-SG1 Satellite, which will be used for civil-purpose data transfer and has an all-electric propulsion system, is expected to be in an important technological position among its peers in the world with its output capacity exceeding 50 Gbps in Ka-band.

Cooperation agreement between TAI and El Salvador in the field of satellite

President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele and his delegation visited Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facilities. During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed with El Salvador in the field of satellite. TUSAŞ General Manager Temel Kotil said of the development, “We have made a good start with our cooperation agreement in the field of satellites, conveying that we are ready to cooperate with our aviation and space capabilities. Good luck,” he announced.
