AK Party Deputy Chairman, Chairman of Local Administrations and Kayseri Deputy Mehmet Özhaseki said at the press conference held at the Mahal Ball and Congress Center that the tender for the construction of the Yerköy-Kayseri High Speed Train line was completed. Özhaseki stated that the company, which won the tender for the Yerköy-Kayseri High Speed Train line, will be announced to the public in the coming days, and the cost will be 1.1 billion dollars.
Özhaseki: “The tender for the 142-kilometer line up to Yerköy has been made. May Allah be pleased with our President, who gave instructions while there was no tender on either side. The loan of the project, which will cost 1.1 billion dollars, has been found, its tender has been made, it has been completed, and the company that receives it will be announced in two days.” he said.
Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, said in a statement in Kayseri on December 16 that the tender process for the Yerköy-Kayseri high-speed train project has started, that it is aimed to be completed in 4 years and that it will have the opportunity to carry 1 million passengers and 11 thousand tons of cargo in 650 year.
