The Metropolitan Municipality, which works to solve the transportation problem in Samsun, has come to an end in the construction of a multi-storey car park with a capacity of 214 vehicles, which it continues to build in Çarşamba district. The rough construction of the giant project, whose physical realization has been completed by 84 percent, has been completed. Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “The car park with a capacity of 214 vehicles will be put into service in May.”

The traffic and parking problem, which has been experienced for many years in Çarşamba, one of the most productive agricultural plains of Turkey, is being solved with the mechanical multi-storey car park built by Samsun Metropolitan Municipality. 84 percent of the construction of the giant project, which will eliminate the parking problem of the Wednesday region, has been completed.

23 MILLION INVESTMENT

In the two-storey mechanical system car park, which is under construction on an area of ​​880 square meters, where the old market place is located on Orta Mahalle Şehit Tuncay Kocabaş Street, the cars will not be parked by drivers, but by an automatic and mechanical system with an elevator. The vehicles will be taken from the parking area with the automatic system and reported to the elevator and brought before their owners. Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said that the project, which cost 23 million 262 thousand 550 TL in total, is a state-of-the-art product. Stating that 84 percent of the physical realization has been completed in the construction of Çarşamba Parking Lot, Mayor Demir stated that they have carried out many projects to ease the city traffic, and that the parking lot projects will also make a great contribution to this.
