At the meeting held in TransportationPark with the participation of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Balamir Gündoğdu, transportation projects in our city were discussed. Smart cities, existing lines and transportation projects were discussed at the meeting. In addition to Secretary General Gündoğdu, Deputy Secretary General Gökmen Mengüç, TransportationPark General Manager Serhan Çatal, Head of Transportation Department Ahmet Çelebi and related managers attended the meeting held at the General Directorate of Transportation Park.

FUTURE TRANSPORTATION PLANS

At the meeting, Secretary General Gündoğdu emphasized the issues of dissemination and accessibility of public transportation within the scope of the smart cities vision. At the meeting, where the needs to be done to make transportation comfortable, convenient and safe in Kocaeli, as well as the demands across the city were discussed, Secretary General Balamir exchanged views with the managers about the future transportation plans.

SMART TRANSPORTATION ISSUES

At the meeting, the issues of accessible and sustainable smart transportation were emphasized together with the services provided by TransportationPark. While evaluating the existing lines, especially Line 250, 200 and ongoing lines were discussed. Periodic maintenance of the vehicles, expedition information and new vehicle planning were also discussed at the meeting.

SMART TRANSPORTATION HIGHLIGHT

TransportPark A.Ş. conveyed detailed information about its activities to the Secretary General Gündoğdu. General Manager Serhan Çatal conveyed the developments on smart cities, smart transportation issues and new services. The current operation and planned services in TransportationPark were also discussed at the meeting.
