Maintenance and replacement works have been started on the cable car line that provides transportation between Altınordu district and Boztepe, which is among the favorite places of tourism.
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality and the Italian manufacturer company started the work on the cable car line, which has been closed to the service of citizens for a while due to security measures for the necessary maintenance and change.
Within the scope of the work started on January 10, 2022, within the framework of the work planning, transmission assembly and pressure controls, parameter settings, brake tests, tower tests, non-destructive testing of the clamp and suspension systems, and the old rope will be lowered and the new rope will be pulled on the line.
It is planned that the cable car line will be opened to the service of citizens at the end of the month, with the completion of the work that prioritizes the occupational health and safety of the personnel in charge.
