President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir announced that HAVELSAN was sent to the Gölcük Shipyard Command to install the Command and Control System, which was developed for REİS class submarines and is the brain of the submarine, on Seydi Ali Reis, the 5th submarine.

In his post on his social media accounts, President Demir stated that they continue to integrate command and control systems into submarines and said, “We sent the Command and Control System, which was developed for REIS class submarines and is the brain of the submarine, to the Gölcük Shipyard Command for the 5th Submarine Seydi Ali Reis. Congratulations." used the expressions.

According to the statement made by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), the integration of sub-systems continues while the construction of submarines continues in the New Type Submarine Project, which is carried out as an SSB project.

Previously, 4 Submarine Command and Control Systems were accepted for 4 submarines. Finally, the 5th command and control system was sent to Gölcük Shipyard Command to be installed on Seydi Ali Reis, the fifth of the REİS class submarines.

HAVELSAN completed the installation and detailed tests of the system. Factory acceptance tests of the system were carried out with the participation of SSB and Naval Forces Command personnel.

HAVELSAN played an important role in the development of many systems and software, especially the command and control system, which is described as the brain of the submarine, within the scope of the New Type Submarine Project (YTDP).

The Combat Management System software developed by HAVELSAN is used in REIS class submarines.

In addition, HAVELSAN is responsible for the configuration management, system integration and testing of all software source code of the Command and Control System. For this purpose, the Land Based Test System (KKTS), which includes the exact equivalent of the hardware and software in the submarine, was established at HAVELSAN's facilities in Ankara.

In addition, the Submarine Information Distribution System (DBDS), which is described as the heart of the new type of submarines, was also developed by HAVELSAN.

DBDS, which uses real-time embedded software technology, provides seamless integration with 105 different units within the submarine.
