Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality started its work on the Köseköy Corridor Alikahya Stadium connection road, which will facilitate access to Kocaeli Stadium from the western part of the Köseköy sunk output of the D-100 Highway. Köseköy sank out and the side road in front of Mobesko will be combined to provide ease of transportation. 13 thousand tons of asphalt will be made for the new 71-kilometer-long road with its side roads.
ALTERNATIVE ROAD TO TRAFFIC IN TEM
The culvert under the TEM Highway in front of the Alikahya Huyundai Factory will be demolished and a prefabricated bridge with 2×2 girders will be built. In order not to disrupt the traffic flow during the demolition of the culvert under the TEM Highway, the demolition will be carried out gradually. In the first stage, the culvert will be demolished in the direction of Istanbul-Ankara and then in the direction of Ankara-Istanbul. Before starting the culvert demolition work, alternative road construction was started next to the TEM Highway. Terrace excavation work has started on the 700-meter-long road. The demolition of the culvert under the TEM Highway will begin after the completion of the double road, which will be asphalted and traffic flow will be made in the direction of Istanbul-Ankara after the Terrace excavation.
NEW BRIDGE TO BE MADE
Within the scope of Köseköy Corridor Alikahya Stadium connection road, the old bridge over Yirim creek will also be demolished and replaced with a 50×30 double road with a length of 2 meters and a width of 2 meters.
30 METER WIDTH
Currently, the Stadium access is provided via Sanayi Street, using the south and north side roads. The connection between the D-100 Highway and the stadium will be provided by a 30-meter zoning road. By ensuring the continuity of the side roads, the construction of which has been completed in the east and west of the intersection, the highway separation and joining will be made safe. Within the scope of the project, the culvert under the TEM in the continuation of the northern connection road will be revised and renewed in a way that it will be provided with a 2×2 road. Yirim Dere Bridge will be rebuilt as 2×2 lanes in accordance with the new route.
4 BRIDGES 1 PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS
A total of 13 kilometers of road will be constructed within the scope of Köseköy Corridor Alikahya Stadium Connection Road Construction Work. In the project, 4 prefabricated prestressed beam bridges and 100 steel pedestrian overpass on the D-1 will be built. 100 prefabricated prestressed girder bridges will be built, one on the D-1, one on the TEM Highway, and one on the Yirim Stream.
EXCAVATION OF 130 THOUSAND METERS AND 71 THOUSAND TONS OF ASPHALT
A new culvert will be built on Vatan Street during the works. Within the scope of the project, 32 thousand 830 square meters of parquet will be laid. Within the scope of the project, in which a total of 130 thousand cubic meters of excavation and 71 thousand tons of asphalting will be carried out, a drainage line of 10 thousand 590 meters will be built.
