Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız visited the General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) Metin Akbaş and presented the certificate of the sapling planted in his name.
Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız and the accompanying delegation visited TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş in his office. Rector Yıldız, who gave information about the studies carried out by the university, stated that they brought 7 thousand 500 saplings to the soil within the scope of the afforestation studies carried out in cooperation with the General Directorate of Forestry - Gazi University. Saying, “The most valuable legacy we will leave to future generations is a greener Turkey,” Musa Yıldız noted that they take steps to improve the green texture of our country at every opportunity. Within the scope of afforestation studies, Prof. Metin Akbaş, General Manager of TCDD. Dr. Explaining that they planted saplings in the Fuat Sezgin Forest, Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız presented the certificate of the sapling to Metin Akbaş.
Stating that as Railways, they support all kinds of work to increase green areas in our country, TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş expressed his satisfaction.
