Flights between Turkey and Armenia will start on February 2, and to Erbil on January 24

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that flights to Armenia will begin on February 2 and to Erbil on January 24. In the written statement made by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, it was noted that the aviation sector was most affected by the epidemic, but this effect was minimized with the measures taken. It was stated in the statement that the aviation industry started to recover after the measures taken and the successes in the fight against the epidemic, and that the flight network also expanded.

FLIGHT PERMISSION TO ISTANBUL-YEREVAN LINE 3 DAYS A WEEK

Pointing out that the talks between Turkey and Armenia are continuing, it was reported that it was decided to start mutual flights after this development. In the statement, which stated that Pegasus Airlines was allowed 3 flights a week on the Sabiha Gökçen-Yerevan route by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, “Fly One Armenia airline company on the Armenian side was also allowed 3 flights a week on the Yerevan-Istanbul route. According to the agreement reached, the first flights will start mutually on 2 February. Fly One Armenia plane will land at Istanbul Airport at 19:50. The Pegasus plane will take off from Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 23:35 the same evening.

GAZIANTEP-ERBIL FLIGHTS MONDAY AND THURSDAY

Underlining that Erbil is another flight destination to start, the statement said, “Anadolujet's Gaziantep-Erbil flights will start on January 24. The reciprocal flights will be carried out 2 days a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
