The garbage cans used by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in the parks are colored. Trash cans with pictures on them began to be placed in parks. The first application was made in Sasalı Picnic Area.
Working as a painter in the Department of Parks and Gardens, Murat Ülkü's trash cans, inspired by cartoon characters, turned into works of art, and were appreciated by İzmir residents, especially children.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department will continue to color the parks with wall paintings as well as garbage cans.
