The excise tax on cigarettes and alcoholic beverages continues to rise. While prices continue to be updated, alcoholic beverages have increased by 43 percent.

Özgür Aybaş, President of the Turkish Monopoly Dealers Platform, announced that raki, whiskey, vodka, gin, liquor, tequila, rum and bourbon have increased in a post he shared on his social media account.

After the price hikes in alcohol and tobacco products and the increase in SCT, the monopoly dealers, whose number reached 60 thousand, closed their shutters yesterday.
