Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which facilitates the lives of citizens living in Kocaeli with the projects it has implemented, meets the needs of the citizens with its free open car parks built throughout the city in 2021. Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs, New Provincial Police Department building built in Başiskele, ring roads and a parking lot for 300 vehicles, in Darıca Balyanoz Bay Beach Park, which will be one of the new attraction centers of Kocaeli and Istanbul Anatolian Side, with a capacity of 107 vehicles, on Hereke Beach It has completed an open car park with 60 vehicles and 85 vehicles on Gölcük Navy Street and put it into service of the citizens.
4 OPEN PARKING AREAS TO 4 DISTRICTS
Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs is working to eliminate the parking problem by constructing open car parks at the points needed throughout the city. The open car parks built in Başiskele, Körfez Hereke, Darıca Balyonoz Bay and Gölcük Navy Street in 2021 contributed to the solution of the vehicle parking problem to a large extent by relieving the traffic density.
