130 Bored Piles Driven for Kuruçeşme Tram Line

Within the scope of Kuruçeşme Tram Line Project, the existing Akçaray Tram Line will be connected to Kuruçeşme by passing from Plajyolu Station to the opposite side of the D-100 upon completion of the works. While the production of 290 bored piles for the 9-meter-long, 8-foot and 130-span tram overpass, which will provide the tramway, has been completed, the head beam and foundation reinforced concrete works on the bridge piers continue.

OVERPASSES ARE OPENED FOR PEDESTRIAN USE

Within the scope of Kuruçeşme Tram Line Project, two new modern pedestrian overpasses, one 59 meters and the other 52 meters long, were built in front of the private hospital and Izmit High School in the region. While work is being done to activate the elevators of the overpasses, all of which have been completed, the overpasses were opened for pedestrian use.

THE BRIDGE THROUGH THE TRAM

Akçaray Tram Line will connect to Kuruçeşme by passing from Plajyolu Station to the opposite side of D-100 upon completion of the works. In order to provide this passage, 290 bored piles were driven for the tram overpass with a length of 9 meters and a length of 8 legs and 130 spans. Within the scope of reinforced concrete works on the middle pillars, head beam and foundation concrete works are carried out. Infrastructure works are continuing in the field.

TRAM LINE WILL REACH 23,4 KILOMETERS

With the completion of the Kuruçeşme tram line, the length of the Akçaray tram line will reach a double line of 10 thousand 212 meters. The single-line length of the tram will reach 3 kilometers, with a 23,4-kilometer single-line warehouse area. With Kuruçeşme station, the number of stops will reach 16.
