In the 'Canal İnegöl Project' supported by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and carried out by İnegöl Municipality, stream improvement and landscaping works continue at full speed.

Continuing its work in many areas from infrastructure to superstructure in order to make Bursa a more livable city, the Metropolitan Municipality continues to support the works carried out by the district municipalities. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, İnegöl Mayor Alper Taban, AK Party İnegöl District President Mustafa Durmuş and council members examined the 'Canal İnegöl Project' in Mesudiye Mahallesi on site. The 'Canal İnegöl Project', carried out by the İnegöl Municipality and supported by the Metropolitan Municipality with the help of BUSKİ, consists of two stages, creek improvement works and landscaping around the creek.

Stating that the first 850-meter-long stage within the scope of the project is between the center of Mesudiye Mahallesi and Ankara Road, Mayor Alinur Aktaş stated that the second stage covers an area of ​​2 meters 'between Ankara Street and the bridge built by the Metropolitan Municipality to Ahmet Türkel Ring Road'. Reminding that the project has been on the agenda of İnegöl district for many years, Mayor Aktaş said, “Work is being carried out under the moderation of İnegöl. Within the scope of the study, 100 thousand square meters of landscape area is being rehabilitated in the first stage, together with the canal improvement. Within the scope of the project, spaces such as parking areas, children's playground, sports field, neighborhood field, walking area, bicycle path, information culture house will be created. In addition, stone wall and reinforced concrete retaining wall works were carried out. It is not possible to apply stone pere in the stream in winter conditions. Therefore, the study will be carried out in the spring. 38 bridges will be built on the landscape part. The Metropolitan Municipality will cover 4 percent of the total cost of the transactions.

Stating that the project will add value to the district when it is completed, Mayor Aktaş said, “The project will gain more meaning with the second phase. I want the residents of the district to be sensitive about 'using this place'. When the flow of water is adjusted, a very beautiful view will emerge in terms of visual and operation. Congratulations to those who contributed to the project. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we are happy to support such a project.”
