We built a total of 213 thousand 2 kilometers of new lines, of which 149 kilometers is YHT. We increased our railway network to 12 kilometers. In addition to the new line construction, we also completely renewed the existing conventional lines. To date, approximately 803 million passengers have traveled by High Speed Trains. The Middle Corridor, known as the route that passes through our country and connects the Far East countries, especially China, to the European Continent. With the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway Line put into service, we started to use the Middle Corridor actively in the rail freight traffic between China and Europe. The 60 thousand 11 kilometer China-Turkey track is completed in 483 days. In the following years, we are working to shift 12 percent of the annual 5 thousand block train to Europe via China-Russia (Siberia), which is designated as the northern line, to Turkey. We aim to operate 30 block trains per year from the Middle Corridor and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars route, and to reduce the 500-day cruise time between China and Turkey to 12 days.”

We continue the construction of a total of 4 kilometers, of which 7 thousand 357 kilometers are High Speed Train and 4 kilometers are conventional lines. We will open the Karaman-Konya high-speed train line into operation soon. Ankara-Sivas, Ankara-Izmir, Halkalı-Our work continues on Kapikule, Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli, Mersin-Adana-Gaziantep, Karaman-Ulukışla, Aksaray-Ulukışla-Mersin-Yenice High Speed Train Lines. In addition, we have completed the planning of the tender works for our Ankara-Yozgat (Yerköy)-Kayseri High Speed Train Line. Gebze-Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge-Istanbul Airport-Çatalca-Halkalı Our work for the High Speed Train Project continues.
