İzmir Metropolitan Municipality commemorates Ensign Mustafa Fehmi Kubilay and his friends, who were martyred by the anti-Republican forces in the bloody uprising that took place 92 years ago in Menemen, with the 23th Kubilay Road Race to be held on Thursday, December 15. The run, which was held in the virtual environment last year due to the pandemic, will this time be held in Menemen with the participation of 200 licensed athletes. The 08.00-kilometer run, which will start at 10:2002 on Karaağaç Road, will end in front of the Martyr Ensign Kubilay Monument. The race will be held in the categories of those born in 2003-2001 for young men and women, and those born in XNUMX and over for older men and women. Trophies, medals and awards will be distributed to the top athletes in the meaningful run at the ceremony.
For the athletes and referees who will participate in the race, the bus will be removed from the Fair Basmane gate on Thursday, December 23 at 06.45:20. Kit distribution of the race will be made from Bornova Aşık Veysel Recreation Area Ice Sports Hall between 22-09.00 December between 18.00-23.
