Producers Continue to Win with the We Are Coming to Your Field Project

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality increased the productivity by going to the lands of 780 producers within the scope of the 'We are Coming to Your Field' project, which was initiated by the farmers in order to obtain more products and income.

Ayşe Doğan, one of the residents of Fadıl Mahallesi who benefited from the project, said, “We started to get the yield that we have not been able to get in olive production for years as a result of the We Are Coming to Your Field project”.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, which attaches great importance to agriculture since its establishment in Muğla in 2014, continues to be with the producers from seed to harvest by directly touching agricultural activities in Muğla with the We Come to Your Field project.

Product yield was increased by visiting the land of 780 producers

Within the scope of the 'We are Coming to Your Field' project, which was initiated by the Metropolitan Municipality with the aim of allowing farmers to produce on their fertile lands and to sell their products, not their land, so far, 780 producers have visited their lands and provided information. The teams, who went to the producers' land, examined the products they grew on diseases, pests and nutrient deficiencies and gave information to the producers about aquaculture and agricultural control. After the soil samples were taken from the lands visited by the teams, they were sent to the Soil Plant and Irrigation Water Analysis Laboratory for analysis, and according to the results, one-year spraying and fertilization prescriptions were created and delivered to the producer.

Producer Doğan said, “We started to get the yield that we could never get within the scope of the "We are Coming to Your Field" project.

Ayşe Doğan, a resident of Fadıl Mahallesi, who stated that they applied to Muğla Metropolitan Municipality due to serious problems in their region, said: “We have been dealing with olive cultivation in our neighborhood for years. We applied to Muğla Metropolitan Municipality because the yield of our olives was not regular. As a result of our application, our friends in charge came to our neighborhood and did an intense work here. As a result of the studies, we started to get the yield that we could not get from olives in previous years. Our yield this year is very good.
