Saying that a fair of this scale after the pandemic is promising, Soyer announced that they will start the Midilli-Izmir voyages in April 2022 and that the first cruise ship will arrive in the city on 3 May. Soyer, who also met with caravans who light campfires within the scope of TTI Outdoor Fair, announced that they will build a campervan camping area in at least 3 points in the city.

Soyer: “We need to focus”

Expressing that tourism in İzmir should be diversified and spread over 12 months, İzmir Chamber of Commerce Chairman of the Board Mahmut Özgener said, “It is an exciting day. The beauty and energy of this fair gave us so much strength and happiness. We really missed the crowded fairs. This interest in the fair visually reflects İzmir's perspective and expectation towards tourism. Our President has set important goals for tourism, and we support it. Izmir does not get what it deserves from the tourism cake and its potential. For this, we need to act together,” he said.
İzmir's energy emerges
TÜRSAB Chairman of the Board of Directors Firuz Bağlıkaya said, “This fair in İzmir is much easier, more comfortable and efficient. There is a team working for a common mind, goal and purpose. When the municipality, chamber of commerce, governorship and other local actors join, a different product, spirit and energy emerges. It is beneficial for the region. It will continue to be seen in the long term," he said.
Caravan camp site good news from Soyer
