Izmir Metropolitan Municipality teams, responding one by one to the calls coming through the "Mild Winter Support Line" opened by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, numbered 444 40 35, mobilized to fulfill the demands in a short time. In addition to the support line, the Metropolitan started to receive "Mid Winter Support" applications via bizizmir.com in order to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

All needs are met
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has distributed food packages to 17 thousand 630 households from the beginning of November, within the scope of the Winter Winter Support, and 5 million 815 thousand liras of cash support has been provided to 8 thousand 488 households. 804 hygiene packages, 406 packages of baby diapers, 7 thousand 366 blankets and quilts, 99 stoves, 648 electric heaters, 400 sacks of fuel were also distributed. 704 thousand 31 pieces of clothing and 766 toys for children were given to 269 households via Bizİzmir Clothing Point and Clothing Bus serving in Üçyol.
Hot food and shelter
Through Solidarity Points, hot meals, food, breakfast, pita and soup for 415 people were served to public-owned private education and boarding institutions and those in need. 20 thousand boots and coats, 4 thousand 20 celiac and phenylketonuri food parcels were delivered to primary and secondary school students in need. 658 citizens benefited from the hammam service, 64 citizens stayed in the hotel rented by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in the Basmane region. 92 household items were given to 386 households. Together with the cash aid, the cost of all these supports was 24 million 421 thousand liras.
125 million lira resource allocated
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will make a total of 2021 million lira social assistance during the winter months covering the years 2022-125. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Chairman of the Republican People's Party, emphasized the importance of CHP municipalities to support citizens during the winter months.
