Application That Makes Life Easier From IMM: 'Disabled Map'

IMM will hold special events for the 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities. IMM's new project, 'Map for the Disabled', will be introduced with the program to be organized. Istanbul's three big clubs; Wheelchair basketball teams of Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will come together in the organization of İBB. IMM cultural centers will also host concerts, workshops and theater plays.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will organize special events to raise awareness of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Athletes from three well-established clubs of Turkish sports will take the field on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the IMM Fatih Sports Complex. In the organization where people with disabilities and their families will meet in Avcılar, IMM's 'Map for the Disabled' project will be introduced. Free events will also be held in cultural centers affiliated to IMM.

DISABLED MAP FROM IMM

İBB will host an important event together with Avcılar Municipality. In the organization where disabled individuals and their families will come together, the IMM's Disabled Map project will be introduced. Thanks to the project, which will facilitate the lives of people with disabilities, the needs of citizens will be analyzed in a healthy way. On the other hand, in possible disaster situations, it will be possible to reach people more quickly.

ISEMX music group of the IMM Directorate for the Disabled will take the stage in the organization, in which non-governmental organizations will also participate. The event, where the works of disabled painters will also be exhibited, will take place at Avcılar Deniz Köşkler Social Facilities.

FRIENDSHIP CUP

The three big teams of Istanbul, Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will come together at the IMM Fatih Sports Complex. The wheelchair basketball teams of the three clubs will compete against each other at 13.00:XNUMX. In matches where the scoreboard will not be activated, the winner will be friendship. At the end of the event, to the managers, team captains and athletes of the participating clubs; Trophies, medals and plaques will be awarded.

FREE CONCERTS

IMM will host Istanbulites with concerts, workshops and theater plays for the 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The events that will take place in the cultural centers affiliated to the IMM can be watched free of charge.

'HYPOTHERAPY' EVENT FROM ZABITA

IMM will organize a hippotherapy (equine therapy) event for disabled children in Kemerburgaz City Forest on 3 December. In the event, which will take place under the supervision of IMM's Mounted Constabulary Teams and expert trainers, children with disabilities will be put on horseback rides. The event, which aims to raise awareness, will begin at 11.00:XNUMX.
