While the touristic Eastern Express, which was suspended during the pandemic period, is getting ready to depart, sleeping wagons will be prepared on the Toros, Aegean, Pamukkale, Van Lake and Güney Kurtalan expressways, and the touristic routes of the Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia and Southeast will be presented to travelers.

According to the news of Cevdet Fırat Aydoğmuş from Türkiye Newspaper; “With the integration of bus tours into the express, Pamukkale Travertines, Konya Mevlana Museum and Çatalhöyük, Van Lake and Akdamar Church, Şanlıurfa Göbeklitepe and Balıklı Lake, Mardin Houses and Dara Ancient City, Diyarbakır Ulu Mosque and Virgin Mary Church will be included in the touristic routes.

On the other hand, the countdown has begun for the Touristic Orient Express to set off again. The first touristic Eastern Express on the Ankara-Kars line will depart from Ankara on Wednesday, December 15, and from Kars on Friday, December 17. Expeditions will be carried out reciprocally twice a week.

While the number of flights and wagons of the Touristic Eastern Express, which will depart from Ankara at 15:55 and from Kars at 22:20, are determined in line with passenger demand, the train consists of only sleeping and dining wagons.
