Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank announced KOSGEB's new call at the 2021 Productivity Project Awards and the TEVMOT Project Plaque Presentation Ceremony, which was held last week.

The new call of the R&D, P&D and Innovation Support Program focuses on pharmaceutical and medical devices, defense industry and rail system vehicles.
A move came from ASELSAN and KOSGEB regarding the call that SMEs can apply until 8 February. ASELSAN Chairman of the Board and General Manager Prof. Dr. Görgün and KOSGEB President Kurt came together and discussed the cooperation efforts to be carried out. Nuh Yılmaz, Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain Management by ASELSAN, and Mehmet Görkem Gürbüz, Head of Technology, Innovation and Localization Department from KOSGEB, attended the meeting.

With our new call, SMEs will be able to receive support of up to 6 million liras to produce the products requested by ASELSAN with domestic means. We prepared the call in cooperation with ASELSAN. PROGRAM UPDATED
KOSGEB updated its support program for R&D at the beginning of this year. The first call for the new support program, called R&D, P&D and Innovation, was made in March in the electric automotive industry and in the fields of new generation mobile communication technologies such as 5G.
COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED
ASELSAN and KOSGEB signed a cooperation agreement on 9 June. With this agreement, negotiations were held regarding the 2nd call of the R&D, P&D and Innovation Support Program. As a result of the negotiations, a new call for proposals was created.
TARGET NATIONALIZATION
The call aims to support R&D and Innovation and P&D projects of enterprises in priority sectors and enterprises within the scope of nationalizing the needs of the defense industry in order to increase competitive and high value-added production.
The project call for proposals, which is open to applications until February 8, will be provided under 3 main headings:
For the defense industry: Military connectors, RF cables, high volume directional diaphragm driver speakers, acoustic transducers, and RF components conforming to QPL
For the pharmaceutical and medical device field: Development of ultrasound devices, computed tomography and digital mammography devices, cellular and molecular level imaging systems, image processing and scanning devices, robotic surgery systems, vaccine and immune products, diagnostic and diagnostic products, biotechnological drugs
For the production of rail vehicles and critical components: Traction system, bogie, baliz, vehicle body design, pneumatic systems, gearbox, self-relay etc. to be used in rail systems. critical components such as rail system control system, passenger information systems, system integration
SUPPORT UP TO 6 MILLION TL
Within the scope of the call, support of up to 900.000 TL for micro enterprises, 1.500.000 TL for small enterprises and 6.000.000 TL for medium-sized enterprises will be provided. These supports will be provided to participating companies for activities such as personnel expenses, machinery-equipment expenses, industrial property rights expenses, test-analysis and certification expenses, consultancy-training-promotion and domestic/foreign fairs.
