Gülnur Uzaldı, Deputy Head of Public-Private Sector Cooperation (PPP) Department and Head of the Tender Commission, in her speech at the tender held at the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI), said that 18 of the 10 PPP projects brought to the aviation sector were built-operate-transfer models, 8 stated that it is a leasing project for the operation of existing facilities.

Uzaldı pointed out that Antalya Airport will not meet the expected increase with its existing infrastructure and capacity, considering the increase that the country aims in tourism in the coming years and expected in the short term, with the tender held today, and said, “The additional investments to be made within the scope of the leasing tender have been planned considering the realization process.” he said.

Extended, within the scope of the project, expansion of domestic and 2nd international terminals, construction of 3rd international terminal and general aviation terminal, construction of VIP terminal and State Guesthouse, investments for increasing apron capacity, construction of new technical block, tower and transmitter station, fuel storage He said that there are investments such as the construction of distribution facilities and distribution facilities.

The construction period of the leased facilities will be 36 months and the operational period will be 25 years. 8 companies related to the tender purchased files, and 3 companies got their site visit documents approved.

BIDS WILL BE EVALUATED BY THE COMMISSION

Uzaldı stated that the bids will be evaluated by the tender commission established by DHMI and said:

In the first stage of the tender, the outer envelopes of the tenderers will be opened and the suitability of the documents specified in the tender specifications will be examined. In the second stage, the inner envelopes are opened, and if the bidder whose documents in the inner envelope comply with the specification is the only one, bargaining method, in case of more than one, the bidder offering the lowest rental price to the bidder offering the highest rental price by auctioning with the bidders according to the bargaining method. will be applied. The result of the tender will be finalized with the decision of the Competition Authority and the DHMI Board of Directors.

Uzaldı stated that as a result of the finalized tender, the lease agreement and its annexes will be signed between the joint stock company to be established by the bidder and DHMI and enter into force.

VNUCOVO-İNTEKAR AND TAV-FRAPORT BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS BIDDED TO THE TENDER

Ömer Gönül, Head of the Procurement and Supply Department and Deputy Head of the Tender Commission, stated that the tender process will be carried out by the commission, and a business partnership between Vnucovo International Airport AŞ-İntekar Yapı Turizm and TAV Airports AŞ-Fraport AG submitted a bid for the tender. used the phrases.

After the commission opened the bid files of the companies and checked their compliance with the specification, the internal bid envelopes of the companies were opened.

Accordingly, the Vnucovo International Airport AŞ-İntekar Yapı Turizm business partnership offered 25 billion 5 million euros, and the TAV Airports AŞ-Fraport AG joint venture offered 250 billion 5 million euros for the capacity increase and 750-year lease of Antalya Airport.

Vnucovo International Airport AŞ-İntekar Yapı Turizm joint venture made an investment commitment of 783 million 400 thousand Euros and TAV Airports AŞ-Fraport AG joint venture made an investment commitment of 765 million 252 thousand 109 Euros.

Then, the auction part of the tender was passed. TAV Airports AŞ-Fraport AG business partnership submitted the highest bid with 12 billion 7 million Euros in the auction, which lasted 250 rounds.
