During the Global Strategies in the Defense and Aviation Industry Conference '21 held in Antalya, President of the Turkish Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir also made statements about ANADOLU LHD. The last statement about the construction activities of LHD ANADOLU, which will be Turkey's largest warship, was made by SSB Prof. Dr. Made by İsmail Demir. Demir stated that the ANADOLU multi-purpose amphibious assault ship will enter the inventory in 2022. In his statement, Demir stated that intensive studies are continuing for the ANADOLU LHD ship to be included in the inventory in the early part of 2022. Some of the detailed equipment of ANADOLU LHD will be executed after it is delivered to the Turkish Naval Forces.

In the process of transforming ANADOLU LHD into an armed unmanned aerial vehicle (SİHA) ship, between 30 and 50 Bayraktar TB3 SİHA platforms with foldable wings will be deployed to the ship. With the command center integrated into ANADOLU LHD, at least 10 Bayraktar TB3 SİHAs can be used in operations at the same time.

L400 TCG, whose main propulsion and propulsion system integration has been completed, continues the ANADOLU Port Acceptance Tests (LINE). It will be delivered to the Turkish Naval Forces in 2022. Sedef Shipyard stated that there were no problems with the calendar, and that the work was continuing as planned. TCG ANADOLU, which will be the flagship when delivered to the Turkish Naval Forces, will also be the largest war platform in the history of the Turkish Navy.

TCG ANATOLIA

Within the scope of the Multi-Purpose Amphibious Assault Ship (LHD) project initiated by SSB, the construction of the TCG ANATOLIA ship started. TCG ANADOLU will carry four Mechanized Removal Vehicles, two Air Cushion Removal Vehicles, two Personnel Removal Vehicles, as well as aircraft, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. The full load displacement of the ship, which is 231 meters long and 32 meters wide, will be approximately 27 thousand tons.
