Parking Convenience for Drivers Going to Adnan Menderes Airport

Within the framework of investments aimed at meeting the parking needs, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which has put into service the Selvili Car Park with a capacity of 20 vehicles and 160 motorcycles, with a cost of approximately 38 million liras, opened an underground car park with a capacity of 153 vehicles in Yeşilyurt Mustafa Necati Cultural Center, BayraklıIn Turkey, it has completed the construction of Turkey's largest fully automatic Smyrna Car Park with a capacity of 636 vehicles. Finally, the button was pressed for the parking lot project that will make the Adnan Menderes Airport area breathe. With the parking project prepared by the Transportation Department, the parking problem experienced during waiting and passenger transfer near the airport will be solved. The vehicle queues around the airport junction and the problem of waiting on the roadside will end.

Studies started

The parking lot arrangement, which started on an area of ​​7 thousand 500 square meters in Gaziemir by the Department of Science Affairs, is planned to be completed in January 2022. The open car park, located on Gaziemir Menderes Street, will serve with a total capacity of 10 vehicles, including 2 disabled, 203 electric and 215 normal vehicles.
