Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Erciyes A.Ş. The second group of tourists who came to the city to have a holiday in Erciyes Ski Center, the pearl of Turkey, operated by the Ukrainians.
Erciyes Ski Center, which is one of the few attraction centers of Turkey and the world with its 19 mechanical facilities and 112 ski tracks of 41 kilometers, continues to attract foreign tourists after the start of the ski season.
While the second tourist group came to the city from Ukraine, their foreign guests were Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Murat Cahid Cıngı and Cennet Yiğit were welcomed with Primary School students.
Welcoming the Ukrainians with flowers at Kayseri Airport, Deputy Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality Hamdi Elcuman, Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Murat Cahid Cıngı, Kayseri Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Şükrü Dursun and students welcomed the foreign guests.
Making statements to the journalists here, Erciyes A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors Murat Cahid Cıngı said, “We welcomed our first convoy from Poland two days ago. Today, the first flight planned for this season from Ukraine arrived in our city. Thankfully, the season started well in Erciyes and is progressing very quickly.”
“UKRAINE IS OUR BIGGEST MARKET”
Stating that 15 thousand foreign tourists from Ukraine came to Erciyes last year, Cıngı said, “As of New Year's, I'm talking about only those who come on charter flights, we will have 4 foreign guests on planes. Ukraine is our biggest market, we hosted 15 thousand Ukrainians in our Erciyes last year. This year, he will come to ski with at least 3 weekly flights with charter flights from Kiev and other cities. I hope we will host our guests who will visit the Cappadocia region and Kayseri so that they can have a happy holiday in Erciyes.”
Cıngı emphasized that the foreign guests especially contributed to the economy of the city and said, “The implementation of the Erciyes Master Plan by our Metropolitan Municipality is important in terms of economic and sportive contribution to our city. Erciyes tourism really constitutes the vision of our city and the future of our offspring.”
During the season, charter flights from Ukraine, Russia and Poland will continue to Erciyes Ski Center every week.
