While railway tourism continues to develop around the world with new routes added, there has been a development that pleases train travel enthusiasts. According to the news of the Daily Mail, thanks to the launch of the new rail route in Laos earlier this month, it has become possible to travel 18 km by train from the city of Lagos in Southern Portugal to Singapore. The cost of the longest train journey in the world will be between one thousand and one thousand 755 euros per person.
During the trip, it was stated that travelers will have to stay one night in Lisbon, Madrid and Paris, and 2 nights in Moscow and Beijing for paperwork. Officials stated that the 11.654-mile (18.755 km) journey can be made in 21 days, and that the passengers will be provided with the necessary time to complete the paperwork during the transition between countries.
