Alstom, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments (AYGM) Bandırma – Bursa – Yenişehir – Osmaneli (BBYO) railway and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli (ÇSS) metro line in the projects to be carried out with the aim of improving the existing signaling infrastructure, signaling and It will provide the construction and supply of electromechanical works.

Bandırma– Bursa– Yenişehir– Osmaneli Project

The project covers the construction and supply of electromechanical works of Bandırma– Bursa– Yenişehir– Osmaneli (BBYO) high standard railway project, which is approximately 201 km long.

Within the scope of the related project, Alstom, as the subcontractor of Kalyon İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., will supply INTERFLO 250 and INTERFLO 450 mainline signaling solutions, supply the European Railway Traffic Management System (ERTMS) Level 1 and 2 applications, and the Traffic Control Center. It will also provide the entire interlocking system (CTC). It will interface on the modern fiber-based digital networks of the line's signal systems. At the end of the project, the Bandırma – Bursa – Yenişehir – Osmaneli line will be able to operate in harmony with all existing trains in the Turkish railway network.

Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli Project

Alstom will provide the electromechanical supply of the 120.000 km long Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe-Sultanbeyli (ÇSS) metro line with a capacity of 11 passengers per hour, within the scope of the project to be realized with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. .Ş., Özaltın İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. in partnership. Alstom will supply, test and commission the entire signaling system, including roadside equipment for 8 stations on the metro line, Computer Based Train Control (CBTC) system and on-board signaling system for 4 new trains. Campaign interval times will be reduced by 90 seconds.

The digitization processes to be carried out within the scope of the projects are of great importance in terms of increasing railway safety and travel comfort, as well as the quality of the existing infrastructure. Digitization studies will facilitate border crossings, increase reliability and commercial speeds, and reduce maintenance costs.
