Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality President Assoc. Dr. Tahir Büyükakın, in his social media account, gave the good news that the pedestrian overpass of 60 houses that have completed their useful life will be removed and a modern pedestrian overpass with elevator will be built instead. The pedestrian overpass located in 100 Evler district of D-60 Highway was removed, and work was started to construct a steel pedestrian overpass with 62 elevators, 3 meters long, 5,5 meters wide and 2 meters high.
PROJECT DRAWING STARTED
Following the instruction of the Mayor Büyükakın, the pedestrian overpass located in the 100 Evler location of the D-60 Highway was included in the investment program by the Metropolitan Municipality Science Affairs Department and the project drawing studies were started.
STEEL PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS WITH LIFT
The old pedestrian overpass, which has completed its useful life and is in a worn and worn condition, will be removed and a steel pedestrian overpass with 62 elevators with a length of 3 meters, a width of 5.50 meters and a height of 2 meters will be built. The overpass is still used extensively by Derince residents living in 60 Evler to reach the upper sections of the D-100 Highway and Derince State Hospital.
