In cooperation with the Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, Bursa M. Kemal Coşkunöz Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and the Automotive Industry Exporters Union Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which is also an R&D center, the Kovid- announced the completion of production of 15 antigen kits.

The production of the antigen kit was carried out in cooperation with Bursa M. Kemal Coşkunöz Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Automotive Industry Exporters' Association Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which is also an R&D center.

The mold designs and productions of the antigen kit, which gave results in as little as 15 minutes with the saliva sample, were made by vocational high school teachers and students. In this respect, all of the product materials have the feature of being the only work produced in Turkey.

The registration process for the brand of the antigen kit, which was determined as “BRS-CA”, was initiated and all packaging designs of the product were completed. In addition, different alternative designs have been prepared to be used in pre-school, basic education and secondary education levels.

The kits were produced for 3/1 less cost of equivalent products on the market.

In addition, studies on the mass production of the antigen kit were initiated. The design of the machine with mass production automation has been completed. The production cost, which is 2,5 million TL for its equivalents in the market, will be put into use in "domestic and national" quality, and it will be 600 thousand TL for this machine.

Stating that they continue to reap the fruits of a very important transformation in vocational education, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said that vocational high schools continue to make people smile.

Ozer used the following statements: “Our friends in Bursa started R&D studies on the production of antigen kit 3 months ago. We also provided all the necessary infrastructure support. The studies bore fruit in a short time. Results from saliva samples can be obtained in as little as 15 minutes. All of the production and automation was carried out by our vocational high school teachers and students. The cost of the antigen kit is also very low compared to its counterparts on the market. We have also completed the necessary investments to produce 5 million antigen kits per month. ”

Approval Process Continues

Stating that they also started the approval process for the use of the antigen kit, Özer said: “Our President gave the first good news of production on October 11, 2021. The evaluation process of our application to the Ministry of Health General Directorate of Health Services continues. When the approval process is completed, teachers and students in our schools will now be able to use the antigen kits we produce. I congratulate our Bursa Provincial Director of National Education Serkan Gür and his colleagues for their success.”
