In a statement made by the Ministry of Education, it was stated that China's education expenditures increased by 2020 percent in 5,69 compared to the previous year, reaching 5,3 trillion yuan ($831,3 billion).
The ministry stated that the financial expenditures for the sector increased by 7,15 percent annually and reached approximately 2020 trillion yuan in 4,3, the amount amounting to 4,22 percent of China's GDP. China has allocated more funds to improve the quality of education in recent years, so that spending on education in the country has not fallen below 4 percent of GDP for nine consecutive years.
