Dyt said that it is necessary to continue our snacks without being hungry for a long time during the day. Mert said, “We should include snacks such as milk, buttermilk, dried fruit and crackers up to 2 hours before our New Year's table. It is important to have snacks during the day in order not to sit at the New Year's table very hungry. Since you will be inactive at the end of the day, we should try to spare time for a walk for at least 1 hour during the day.

Enjoy the night but don't focus on the food

Dyt., one of the experts of DoktorTakvimi.com, who recommends taking care to make the healthiest choices possible by consuming all food groups in a balanced way at the New Year's Eve table. Beste Mert continues her words as follows: “You can choose soup as a light starter before the meal, and turkey meat as the main course of the New Year's Eve. It will be healthier if you eat it without consuming the skin. Try to focus on grilled vegetables and appetizers served with it. If there is a buffet, if you prefer the majority of your plate from the vegetable group, you will make a less calorie choice. If possible, avoid carbohydrates such as sauces or stir-fries, side dishes, rice and pasta in the main course, or consume it in portions (2-3 spoons) in a controlled manner. Instead of heavy desserts after the meal, choose fruit salads, quince dessert made with fruits or light milk desserts. Although nuts seem innocent after meals, their fat content is high, so consume 5-10 pieces as a portion. Enjoy the night but don't focus on the food and try to join in the fun and spend time standing instead of sitting at the desk for a long time. Drink water when you need a snack. Stay away from carbonated and sugary drinks, prefer plain mineral waters.”

dit. Mert states that those who want to consume alcohol should consume a limited number and only one type. Emphasizing that more water should be consumed the next day, Dyt said that it will be easier to excrete alcohol from the body in this way. Mert says, "If you have consumed too much alcohol on New Year's Eve, you can try to drink it by adding nutrients such as cucumber, mint, lemon into an extra 1 liter of water the next day to balance it, and you can try to drink herbal teas such as chamomile, sage, fennel, and lemon balm with a slice of lemon."
