“With this beautiful environmental project, we are dredging 3,3 million cubic meters of sludge at the bottom of Lake Mogan. We have left behind an important part of the 2nd Stage of the Bottom Mud Cleaning Project of Lake Mogan, located in the Gölbaşı district of Ankara. Thanks to our efforts, we have made 91 percent progress in sludge screening. Likewise, the purification of the collected sludge from water was achieved at a rate of 88 percent. In the works that we started on October 9, 2020, we have dredged more than 3 million 12 thousand cubic meters of mud so far. We filter the sludge taken from the lake with filters and release the clean water back into the lake. Thus, we lay 580 thousand cubic meters of dewatered waste on the recycling area. By completing our work on June 9, 2022, we will leave a much cleaner, odorless and lively Mogan Lake to our citizens.”

WE WILL SCAN A TOTAL OF 6 MILLION CUBIC METERS OF MUD

“This is our 2nd project on Mogan Lake. We realized our first project between 2017-2019. In our first stage cleaning project, we dredged and filtered 3 million cubic meters of sludge. We also evaluated the 125 thousand cubic meters of plant roots and moss formed in this way in the same way. When our second project is completed, we will have dredged 6 million cubic meters of mud in Mogan Lake.”
