ITU ETA Foundation Doğa Koleji t-MBA Leadership Academy students dressed needy students studying in state schools across Turkey with the social responsibility project “You Dress Me Up This Winter”, which they carried out for the 6th time this year.
The leadership academy students, who warmed 5 thousand little hearts with their projects, were congratulated by various district municipalities, district governors and public institutions and honored with certificates of appreciation and plaques.
ITU ETA Foundation Doğa College t-MBA Leadership Academy students have implemented an important social responsibility project for children who continue their education life under difficult conditions. Within the scope of the “You Dress Me Up This Winter” project, leadership academy students at all İTÜ ETA Foundation Doğa College Turkey campuses managed every stage of their projects and identified the needy public schools. The students, who started to work with enthusiasm for their projects, announced their projects all over Turkey. The project grew like an avalanche with parents and sponsor connections who were not indifferent to these meaningful projects of students who wanted support by explaining their projects to parents and business people. The students included them in the project by explaining their projects to the seminar guests they hosted on their campus. At the end of the project, which lasted for 2 months, the students reached 45 thousand students in 5 provinces. The students of the Leadership Academy were congratulated by various district municipalities, district governors and public institutions for their meaningful projects and honored with certificates of appreciation and plaques.
Sensitive and conscientious generations are raised with the t-MBA Education Model
With its t-MBA education model, ITU ETA Foundation Doğa College attaches great importance to raising its students as individuals who are sensitive to the country and society they live in. For this purpose, it encourages students to take part in social responsibility projects.
Within the scope of the "You Dress Me Up This Winter" project, 500 leadership academy students working in all campuses of ITU ETA Foundation Doğa College visited the schools they identified one by one and came together with their siblings, who were waiting for them with great excitement. Students going to every region of Turkey delivered winter clothing packages consisting of coats, trousers, sweaters and boots to the children in need.
