With the HAYDİ mobile application, notifications about endangered animal species can be made easily, as well as notifications for the protection of animals. 177 thousand 700 reports were made through the application installed on mobile phones by 30 thousand 82 people.
Throughout the country, 2 thousand 602 incidents within the scope of the Turkish Penal Code and the Animal Protection Law were intervened by the Gendarmerie and Police HAYDİ teams, and 2 thousand 577 suspects were referred to the judicial authorities.
Legal action was taken against 1740 people
According to the Turkish Penal Code, “Anyone who releases an animal under surveillance in a way that may be dangerous for the life or health of others, or who neglects to control them, is sentenced to imprisonment of up to six months or a judicial fine.” In accordance with the provision, legal action was taken against 1740 people who released animals in a dangerous way.

The endangered dog species were determined by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as Pitbull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Bransilerio, American Staffordshire Terrier and American Bully.
