This year's winners of the “Turkey Excellence Awards”, one of the most prestigious organizations in the business world, given by KalDer to organizations that have implemented the EFQM Model for 29 years, are ELTEMTEK A.Ş. and Automotive Industry Exporters Union Vocational Technical Anatolian High School.

Within the scope of the 30th Quality Congress, carried out by the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer), which carries out studies to increase Turkey's competitive power and welfare level by transforming the culture of excellence into a lifestyle, and where the risks and opportunities created by the transformation experienced throughout the world in the "transition from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder capitalism" are discussed, “29. With the main sponsorship of Aygaz, Opet and Tüpraş, in the congress held with the theme of “The Power of Common Purpose” this year; The new world order transformed by the process of “transition from shareholder capitalism to stakeholder capitalism” experienced throughout the world, the risks, opportunities and economic development balances created by this situation were discussed and solutions for the problems experienced were also discussed. In accordance with the measures taken within the scope of the pandemic, the event organized online this year; hosted many important names who are experts in their fields.

Organized within the framework of the two-day congress, which is one of the largest sharing platforms in Europe, Turkey Excellence Awards” ceremony was held at Titanic Business Kartal Hotel in Kartal. Speaking at the opening of the ceremony, KalDer Chairman of the Board Yılmaz Bayraktar said, “We held both our congress and our award ceremony in digital environment last year due to the pandemic conditions. This year, as the KalDer Family, we hope to come together again with our institutions that have received the Turkish Excellence Awards; We are excited to celebrate their happiness and success together. On the occasion of this beautiful ceremony, we sincerely congratulate our institutions that received Certificates of Excellence and that were awarded after successfully completing the award process; As the pioneers of the culture of excellence in our country, I wish them success and efficiency in this sustainable development path they have embarked on. I also hope that these awards will inspire our institutions that have not yet met the EFQM Model and lead to new, high-quality beginnings for them.”

Volunteer evaluators of the KalDer EFQM Recognition and Award Program were later presented with plaques at the ceremony. Subsequently, in the event; “Certificates of Competence” were given to the organizations that were entitled to receive certificates in the excellence stages. In this context, in the journey of perfection stages, TR Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and Metro Istanbul A.Ş. Received “5 Stars for Competence in Excellence” certificates. “Silverline”, “TB Sewtech Turkey”, “Banks Association of Turkey” and “Vakif Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş.” also received the "Competence in Excellence 4 Stars" certificates. The Women and Democracy Association (KADEM) was awarded the "3 Stars for Competence in Excellence" certificate.

The number of organizations that won the Turkey Excellence Award reached 65!

Within the scope of the award ceremony organized by KalDer for nearly 30 years, the jury included good practices related to the basic concepts of the “EFQM Excellence Model” as one of the important criteria leading the applicant organizations to the award. After the examinations, the names that received the “Turkey Excellence Award” were announced. In this context, ELTEMTEK A.Ş. and Automotive Industry Exporters Union Vocational Technical Anatolian High School became the new owners of the "Turkey Excellence Award" at the ceremony. Thus, the number of organizations that won the Turkey Excellence Award rose to 65.

To date, 297 organizations have applied!

Until today, Turkey Excellence Award; 297 organizations applied and 33 organizations were awarded the "Grand Prize", 288 organizations received the "Award" and 8 organizations received the "Continuity in Excellence Award". Institutions and organizations that received awards in Turkey continue their success in Europe as well. Organizations from Turkey participating in EFQM so far have won a total of 8 awards, including 19 “Great” and 27 “Achievement Awards”.
