  1. The entry that says “1489 – Jeanne d'Arc unsuccessfully sieges Charite” should have the year 1430 (note 1489), and the name of the town was La Charite (La-Charite-sur-Loire). The verb should be “besieges” (“sieges” is a noun, the plural form of “siege”; the verb is “to besiege”)..

  2. In my previous post, I should have said “1429” rather than 1430 – the siege of La Charite was in 1429.
