Metin Akbaş, General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), hosted Anıl Bora İnan, Deputy Director General of Relations with Iraq, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey. Within the scope of the meeting, the current situation in the region in terms of railways, current projects and the steps to be taken to develop cooperation between the railways of the two countries were discussed.
TCDD and Iraqi Railways Organization (IRR) came together to develop cooperation between the existing projects and the railways of the two countries. During the meeting held at the TCDD Headquarters Building, the visit to Iraq, which is expected to be carried out under the coordination of the TR Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, was also discussed.
The bilateral meetings ended with mutual courtesy and wishes to stay in touch about current and future developments.
