Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club continues to support women in all branches. İBBSK established a women's team for the first time in its 30-year history of ice hockey.
Founding the first women's ice hockey team, İBBSK will compete in the Super League this season.
In addition to the women's ice hockey team made up of youth players, 3 young and talented national players were included in the squad. Alara Lokbaş and Dilara Lokbaş brothers and Tuğçe Melis Demir will both contribute to the team and support the development of young players this season.
Deniz İnce, who is also the coach of the Men's Ice Hockey National Team, has been appointed as the coach of the women's ice hockey team.
