Applications for the 2nd term of the Google for Startups – Game Factory Booster program, which game startups from all stages can apply, are open. This program, which was held for the first time last year, offers game development teams the opportunity to grow their businesses rapidly this year, in cooperation with Game Factory, the incubation center for game developers, and Google for Startups.
Organized in cooperation with Google for Startups and Game Factory, the program will bring Turkish game studios to the global by preparing them for the world of the future. The Google for Startups – Game Factory Booster program, which hundreds of teams applied for last year, will take place as a hybrid between December 2021 and May 2022 this year. Applications for the program, in which Turkey's most promising game studios are selected every year, will continue until 13 December 2021.
Turkish game studios will be prepared for the future with qualified training
Turkish game studios will come together with the trainers of Google, which is gradually increasing its activity in the game industry, and Game Factory, the incubation center for game developers. Turkish game studios will be prepared for the world of the future thanks to the Booster #2 program, which will provide training in both technical and management fields such as creation, publishing, scaling and studio operation.
Google employees will meet with Turkish game developers
Game developers selected for the program will meet with expert mentors of Google and Game Factory. Game developers will have the opportunity to meet experienced people in various fields of the game industry and to receive one-on-one mentorship. In addition, the game studios in the program; It will also have the opportunity to get credit for many Google products.
Game developer teams will have physical office facilities
The Google for Startups – Game Factory Booster #2 program will run as a hybrid between December 2021 and May 2022. Game developers from every city in Turkey will be able to apply to this program. In addition, teams residing in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir; They will also be able to benefit from the physical office facilities offered by Game Factory.
Turkey's best game studios to meet investors
Game developers will benefit from trainings and mentorships for 19 weeks under the program. After the program, game studios will meet with investors. In addition, at the end of the acceleration, it will be announced how investors and business people interested in the game industry can participate in the demo day.
