“The domestic signaling system we developed aroused great interest”

Reminding that they have pioneered the development of rail systems in many large and small cities in Turkey, Özgür Soy said, “We cooperate in terms of projects, consultancy services or just aid. This is not just limited to Turkey. We went to Baku in June and met with the leading names of Baku in rail systems. Now we are very happy to host the Baku Metro delegation in Istanbul. We visited our R&D and Design Center and lines with them and showed our projects and works on site. In addition to our management experience with our 183,5 stations on 16 lines with a length of 189 kilometers; We also told them about our experience in maintenance and repair, project, consultancy and consultancy services. They showed great interest in our Communication-Based Train Control System (CBTC) project, which is a domestic signaling technology that has been imported from abroad until today but that we started to develop as Metro Istanbul. We have informed them about this in detail.

As Metro Istanbul, one of our important business goals is also to present the projects we developed in our R&D and Design Center and our experience as a rail systems operator in technical terms to the domestic rail system operators and to neighboring countries in our nearby geography globally, under the consultancy service. In terms of this goal, the visit of the Baku delegation was extremely important for us. We hope that it will lead to good cooperation”.
