WE ESTABLISHED AN UNINTERRUPTED HIGHWAY CONNECTION FROM EDİRNE TO SANLIURFA

Pointing out that they built the shortest commercial route from Asia to Europe via Marmaray, Karaismailoğlu said that they made possible the uninterrupted highway travel from Edirne to Şanlıurfa. Karaismailoğlu said, "We are continuing our efforts to launch our national communication satellite Türksat 6A in the first quarter of 2023," and continued his speech as follows:

“We are bringing modern, safe and environmentally friendly transportation to all corners of our country with our High Speed ​​​​Train lines, which are used, built and planned by starting the reform process in railways. Our highway sector took the lion's share of our investments. We have largely solved the infrastructure and superstructure problems in both the east-west corridors and the north-south axes. We increased our existing divided road network of 2003 kilometers before 6 to 101 kilometers. We have completed the Istanbul-Izmir Highway, which includes the Osmangazi Bridge, the Northern Marmara, which includes the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, and the Ankara-Niğde and Menemen Çandarlı highways. By completing the Ankara Niğde Highway, we established an uninterrupted highway connection of 28 kilometers from Edirne to Şanlıurfa. We have increased our total tunnel length from 402 kilometers by 230 kilometers to 50 kilometers.”

With its location as Konya's gateway to the Aegean, it has also been an important transportation route throughout history. For this reason, we designed the Akşehir-Yunak-Ankara Provincial Border Road within the scope of the high standard connection of Akşehir to the campuses in the region and to the Capital Ankara via Polatlı. Akşehir Main Road Bridge Junction and Akşehir-Tuzlukçu Road are included in the 'Polatlı-Yunak-Akşehir' project, which is 94,6 kilometers long. The 21-kilometer section between Akşehir and Tuzlukçu Separation was completed in the standard of 2×2 lane, bituminous hot mix paved divided road. In project scope; There are also 85-meter Akşehir Main Road Bridge Interchange, 29-meter State Railways Overpass, 23-meter Adıyan Bridge and 35-meter Yunak Junction Bridge and connection roads. In addition, the 2-kilometer section of the (Akşehir-Yunak) Junction-Tuzlukçu Provincial Road, 6 kilometers of which is divided and 8 kilometers of which is a single road, has been completed.”

WE WILL REDUCE EXHAUST EMISSIONS BY 2 THOUSAND 100 TONS

Karaismailoğlu, who stated that they have increased the transportation standard in the region by making the transportation network in the North-South direction of Akşehir, which is located on the divided road network on the East-West axis, as a divided road, with the realized project, added that the Akşehir-Tuzlukçu Junction, which previously served as the only surface-covered road, was divided. Expressing that they provide a fast, safe and comfortable traffic flow with the newly built underpasses, culverts and intersections, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu emphasized that the waiting due to traffic density will now disappear. Karaismailoğlu said, “We will save a total of 5,6 million TL annually, 5,2 million TL from time and 10,8 million TL from fuel. In addition, we will reduce the exhaust emissions of vehicles to the environment by 2 thousand 100 tons.” said.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE BETWEEN ANKARA AND ANTALYA

Underlining that Akşehir will be connected to Ankara by a divided road network with the putting into service of the entire “Polatlı-Yunak-Akşehir” project, Karaismailoğlu noted that an alternative route between Ankara and Antalya will be put into service. "Also; Karaismailoğlu said that a divided road connection will be established between D-200 and D-300, two important state roads that provide transportation in the east-west direction in our country, and added that the development and development of the region will be much faster.
