We are ready to invest in any place in Turkey where we can manufacture and meet our logistics needs.”

“CHEMICAL IS A SECTOR THAT SHOULD BE SUPPORTED, NOT FEARED”

"The chemical industry in Turkey is known for its negative image," said Araci, adding, "However, the driving force of developed economies is the chemical industry. You can create many products with main chemicals and expand your product range from a single raw material. Chemical products are an important export item. When we look at the basis of sectors, the chemical industry has assumed the export championship in June 2021. When we can realize the production of main chemicals, we can reach higher export figures without the need for raw material imports.

“WE DEVELOP PRODUCTS FROM MAIN CHEMICALS”

Emphasizing that the Protection Group of Companies is not only a chemical raw material producer, İbrahim Araci said, "We produce Hypo, one of the oldest bleach brands in Turkey, and Miss Arab Soap, the purest cleaning agent, with our Protection Cleaning company, which is part of our organization and produces in three regions. In addition, by producing for 'private label' brands, we export the chemicals we produce in Turkey to all over the world, mainly to the USA, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Canada, Kenya, Uruguay, Ecuador, Australia, Qatar and the UAE.

“CHEMICAL LOGISTICS AND SHIPPING REQUIRE EXPERTISE”

Saying, "Chemistry is a sector that has its own methods, procedures and obligations in logistics and transportation besides its production," said Araci, "Our company, Izmit Sakarya Nakliyat A. It specializes in the transportation of chemical products thanks to its tankers suitable for liquid chemical transportation and its constantly developing road vehicle fleet.

“WE ARE ALSO IN AGRICULTURE TO PROTECT OUR FARMERS' LABOR”

Speaking about Protection Agriculture, the unit of the Protection Chlorine Alkali company operating in the production of plant protection products and fertilizers, Araci said, “Industrial agriculture is unthinkable without protective chemicals. Not using preservatives and fertilizers will significantly reduce the yield of strategic crops such as cotton. We are also present in industrial agriculture by producing plant protection products from main chemicals. Thus, we will produce the imported protective products in our country and meet the liquid fertilizer needs of our farmers with our fertilizer investment.”

Emphasizing that their future target is 'integrated chemistry facilities' after the fourth production facility under construction in GEBKİM OSB, Araci said, “The product range we can produce from main chemicals is very diverse. Our goal is to establish another chemical plant where we can synthesize all by-products from a single factory, starting from chlorine,” he concluded.
