In Velimeşe Neighborhood of Tekirdağ's Ergene district, while a freight train was passing, a service minibus hit the level crossing, and after the freight train crashed into the minibus, 6 people lost their lives and 7 people were injured as a result of the accident.

Although the mechanic MKA deleted the comments he made after 6 hours after the reactions, it was announced in the statement made by the General Directorate of Transport of the TCDD that the mechanic was dismissed and an investigation was launched against him.
As a result of the investigation, the mechanic, who was dismissed from his duty after the reactionary post, was dismissed as of 10 November.
