Our Yunus Panel in Folk Literature from the Ministry

A new one has been added to the activities organized throughout the year to commemorate and understand Yunus Emre, one of the cornerstones of Turkish culture, language and literature.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism organized the "Our Dolphin Panel in Folk Literature" online.

In the panel, which offers the opportunity to draw attention once again to the spiritual personality and works of Yunus Emre, one of the greatest names in the history of Turkish literature and mysticism; In his poems, the concepts of love of people and nature, tolerance, brotherhood and peace, which he worked with in the purest Turkish, were explained.

In the panel; Gazi University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ali Yakıcı “The Influence of Yunus Emre on Aşık Style Turkish Poetry”, Istanbul University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Emeksiz “The Search for Meaning in Yunus Emre”, Pamukkale University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Turgut Tok "Language Feature in Yunus Emre Poems", Gazi University Faculty Member Dr. Mustafa Tatcı “Yunus Emre Menakıpnameleri”, Ankara Hacı Bayram University Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Evrim Ölçer Özünel with "Yunus Emre as a Cultural Heritage" and Anadolu University Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Zülfikar Bayraktar made presentations on “Commemorating and Understanding Yunus EMRE in the Context of Intangible Cultural Heritage”.
