Japan has completed the first test runs of its new driverless high-speed train, which took 11 days. Japanese media announced that the driverless high-speed train developed in the country has made its first test flights.

According to NHK TV, the expeditions lasted for 5 days on a line of approximately 11 kilometers near the country's city of Niigata and ended today.

The mechanic was present in the cabin for unforeseen emergencies during the expeditions. With it, the train successfully performed all functions, from takeoff to speed control.

According to the channel, the flights were made after the scheduled train service ended. The train can reach a speed of about 110 kilometers per hour.
