Within the scope of the Akçaray tram line project, which will be extended from Beachyolu to Kuruçeşme, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality teams continue to work intensively at the same time. In the past days, in front of the Izmit Kuruçeşme Izmit High School, the floor covering works and assembly work continue on the modern pedestrian overpass, whose main platform has been placed on the D-100 Highway.

FLOOR COATING AND INSTALLATION WORKS

Floor covering work is being carried out on the main platform of the new and modern pedestrian overpass in front of Izmit High School, which was built as part of the Kuruçeşme Tram Line project. In the pedestrian overpass, which is intended to be completed in a short time, the assembly work of the pedestrian guardrails and elevators is also carried out. In addition, within the scope of the expansion of the D-100 in the direction of Istanbul in this location, the construction of the curtain concrete wall on the side of the road continues.

290 METERS LENGTH TRAM OVERPASS

The existing Akçaray Tram Line will be connected to Kuruçeşme by passing from Plajyolu Station to the opposite side of D-100 upon completion of the works. In order to provide this transition, the Tramway Overpass with a length of 290 meters and a length of 9 legs and 8 spans is being built. While the production of bored piles for the construction of the middle legs of the tram overpass continues, elevation concrete production is carried out on some legs.

TRAM LINE WILL REACH 23,4 KILOMETERS

With the completion of the Kuruçeşme tram line, the length of the Akçaray tram line will reach a double line of 10 thousand 212 meters. The single-line length of the tram will reach 3 kilometers, with a 23,4-kilometer single-line warehouse area. With Kuruçeşme station, the number of stops will be 16.
