İzmir Metropolitan Municipality company İZDENİZ AŞ, which provides public transportation in the Gulf, updated its ferry schedule due to the 1 percent increase in diesel prices between October 26 and November 37. The new tariff will be valid as of Sunday, November 28. How many liras are the İZDENİZ Ferry Fees?

İZDENİZ AŞ, a subordinate of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, had to make arrangements in the ferry schedule due to the successive hikes in fuel prices. The car toll was increased from 23 TL to 25 TL. The 1 TL fee charged to passengers other than the driver in the vehicle and the citizens who have the right to free pass has not changed. Minibus/pickup toll from 45 TL to 50 TL; bus/truck toll from 80 TL to 100 TL; motorcycle toll from 12 TL to 14 TL; TIR toll from 170 TL to 200 TL; Midibus tolls increased from 60 TL to 70 TL. The new tariff, approved by the Transport Coordination Center (UKOME), will be effective from Sunday, 28 November.

The reason is fuel price increases.

Within the scope of the Esel Mobil System (EMS), which came into effect in May 2018, a reduction in the SCT as much as the hike rate has begun so that the price hikes in fuel are not reflected on the citizens. After the consecutive price hikes, the amount of SCT decreased to zero. İZDENİZ, which started to buy diesel oil over pump prices due to EMS, had to go to this arrangement due to the 1 percent increase in diesel prices between October 26 and November 37.
